Q: cannot access itunes update server

Tried all the usual as suggested in the link above,  I am using windows xp, have no problem connecting to the internet, just not itunes update server! any suggestions please?

iPad 2, iOS 4.3.1

I was told in windows xp, to click start, then programmes, then accessories, then when the command prompt shows, type in netsh winsock reset .Press enter and restart the computer (if prompted to remap LSP click no) This solved my issue and can now connect to the update server! Hope this helps anyone who is experiencing similar issues.
