I have bought a 3rd generation IPod and have given my husband my 2nd gen Ipod plus my Ipad How do I change it over to him without losing all my passwords etc for my current one?
My question remains the same.

Just restore your old one. This wipes all content from the iPod and resets all of its settings back to its defaults.
