Q: White Balance Adjustment not displaying in HUD mode..

Can anyone help me fix this on aperture.. When I am in normal view and edit mode the White Balance is displayed with full adjustment bars, however when entering full screen mode, or even just bringing up the HUD the White Balance section is there but no adjustment bars, as below picture illustrates.

I have tried software update, (I am using Aperture 3.2.3) I have tried deleting preset and adding again, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Thanks I would appreciate it if anyone knows what is happening here.

Paul, what's happenend to the "picture below"? That would really help; now we can only guess ..

You did press the disclosure triangle below the "white balance" caption, didn't you ?

I can't seem to get the screen shot uploaded on here..

    I'll try and explain,

The White Balance Adjustment is ticked and displaying with Temp and Tint adjustment bars correctly on the 'Grey' Adjustments panel in the normal view mode.. However when I go to full screen and bring up the HUD there is a space where the white balance should be, ticked box and used triangle to display adjustments however the temp and tint adjustment bars are missing.

It just means I am editing pictures in normal view mode, instead of being able to do so in the full screen mode.

I hope this is a bit clearer..

    Thanks

If items in the graphical user interface are missing, that clearly should be there, then it often helps to remove the Aperture preference file from the user library - see

    Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805

on how to remove the  "com.apple.Aperture.plist" file from the Preferences folder.

If this does not help, I'd suggest to reinstall Aperture.
