iMovie 11 not opening in Snow Leopard

Hey everyone, I am encountering a problem with iMovie. I have installed it on my Snow Leopard 10.6.8 partition and all other iLife apps are working fine but when I open iMovie, the program appears in the menu bar but no windows open. Also I get no error messages.

I have tried repairing disk permissions, reinstalling iLife and deleting the imovie preferences plist file, with no success.

Any ideas?
