Question

ibooks on ipad

i am suddenly unable to download any articles or pdfs into ibooks on my iPad. previously no issues. tries to download and article appears briefly then disappears. any ideas how to resolve?

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? If you do this, make sure that you backup your iPad and transfer all purchases into iTunes so that you do not lose anything. You should be able to download the purchased books again, but you need to have any saved PDFs in iTunes for safe keeping - just in case.

A sync with iTunes should ensure that the content is in iTunes on your computer.

Hi.. Thanks have tried that but still made no difference PDF appears briefly and then disappears still.

You have a corrupt PDF that might be causing the issue. You could try removing all of the PDF files and then slowly add them back to the iPad a few at a time to see if you can find one that is corrupt.
