Q: credit card registration in iTunes

i find that itunes is the main gateway for any transaction with apple for any app store or other transaction and for the same, you need to register your credit card. can somebocy tell me how safe it is, since the cvv no also is required to enter while registering.

You can click None from the Payment Information window when not using your account for purchases.
