access photo stream on imac

My iphone has malfuctioned and is not useable, but everything is saved to icloud. I cannot figure how to access the photo stream from iCloud from the iphone camera , onto the new iMac. I was able to download my entire iTunes library onto my new iMac, but need help figuring out the photos. Thanks!

Here's an article that will help answer your questions regarding enabling PhotoStream on your iMac so that you can view and download the pictures into iPhoto. It's a great feature.

On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and check the box for Photo Stream. Then, open iPhoto or Aperture to confirm that Photo Stream is turned on in the application you want to use with Photo Stream. You can also adjust your Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.
