I am experiencing an where I have logged out of twitter on my iPad, I then receive a private message to twitter inbox but yet still shows up in my notification on my iPad even when I have completely signed out of my twitter account. Who else has this problem as I think its a serious issues that needs to investigated.I have deleted the twitter app and reinstalled, still the same issue even before signing in

Delete your Twitter account in Settings > Twitter > tap on your name > delete.
Twitter is integrated into iOS. Deleting the app does not remove your account.
I have tried it and makes no difference, it happens on both my iPhone and iPad
Make sure you are signed out in the settings and then delete and reinstall. I just tried on my iPad and I didn't get anything. When I open the Twitter app it ask me to sign in.
Just to clarify, Settings app on your iPad, not your Twitter app settings.
Yup defi on both devices ,I then sign back into twitter one device and ask a friend to send me a direct message, I then recieve a banner notification on my iPad as well my iPhone of which I should only get it on the iPhone. I can then even drop down the notification centre where I'm able to see all the last recent direct messages sent to me

I am unsure, I am not able to duplicate what you are doing. I have tried deleting my account > reinstalling Twitter, while still signed out > sending myself a DM from my other Twitter account and I do not get any notifications.
i had to manipulate the picture to prove that i was signed out, but it happens when im at the ipad home screen.
