Thank you Matt for your suggestion. Using Keywords works, but it is also time consuming event (if you have to go back and label/keyword each clip.
I think I have used incorrect terminology "Import" in my original question. All I did was is to turn iMovie on that then created an event called iPhoto Videos in Event Library. Unfortunatelly, this "iPhoto Videos" event containes about 100 clips that I tried to seperate by date - that is all I wanted. I have paper documentation for each date, so I really do not need keywords in this case. I can see the use keywords in other instances, lbut in my case it only creates more work.
In summary: Is there any other way I can see individual clips in Event library rather then keywording each clip and then use filter feature?
Thanks,

I have imported all my video clips (100+) from the iPhoto Library and the import treats it as one item in the Event Library. I have used "View" for the appropriate options - but it does not work. It still lookes like one item. I started to work on some movie projects, but it is a frustrating process because I have to go through all the clips to find the right one. Your help will be appreciated.
