Mail 3.6 on 10.5.8 deletes old inbox messages after about 60 days, can't find a setting that is causing this gremlin. Changed from POP to Exchange account a few weeks ago and problems seem to have started then. I had no issues like this using POP account. Any ideas out there?

In Mail>Preferences>Accounts, highlight this account, click the Advanced tab, is Remove copy from Server after a certain time checked?
I can't see the option listed that you mention in that menu:
Hmmm, the option I listed is only available for POP it looks like, is this Exchange account a new account, or is it the same account & you just changed the type somehow?
The mailbox was rebuilt as an exchange account several weeks ago.
Could there be some setting on the Server end doing this?
Strangely, the messasges are intact on the server, but deleted by Mail?! We have all been racking our brains on this one.... Re-built again from ground up last week. The oldest inbox message approaches the magical 60 days next week so I guess we will see then if that strategy worked.
Hmmmm, did I ask, do you/did you have any rules setup at all?
