I have an iphone 4s and i wish to block a phone number from calling , sms and imessage. Can someone tell me if imessage supports blocking numbers or an app for that.

True call blocking MUST be done by your carrier, as there is no way to block calls/SMS's on any iPhone. There are apps in the app store that "claim" to provide this functionality, but all have terrible reviews. Some carriers offer call/SMS blocking, some don't. Contact yours to see if they do.
There is no way to block iMessages.
