I have about 500 photos on my iphone 3 that i want to transfer onto my iphone 4.
however, they dont seem to sync into itunes and as iphone 3 doesnt have icloud i don't know how to get them onto my iphone 4 (and for that matter my ipad).
Same problem with my contacts.
any help?

You can do a backup of your 3 http:///support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 then restore your 4 from that backup.
Additionally you should import all your pics to your pc http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 as a backup, you can always sync it back to your phone via Itunes.
