Since upgrading my computer to OS X Lion I can't ge certain features to work. How can I make Facetime, you tube and push notifications work?

The problems did not start until I upgraded to Lion. Prior to that I had no issues. Facetime doesn't even give me an option on my phone. My sister-in-law tried facetiming me and I couldn't and there is no button on my contacts for facetime. Push Notifications keeps telling me to go to itunes to activate push notifications. I went over push notifications with a support tech, we fiddled with the settings and everything that needed to be on was on but still the push notifications don't work. As to YouTube I try to open it and it says cannot connect to you tube.

facetime on my iphone have a good wi-fi connection - No push notifications for facebook, CNN, MLB at Bat, pretty much none of my apps get push notifications. I still get sounds with texts and email but that's it.

all the notifications are there and turned on just not working. Anytime I open an App that has push notifications I get a message "connect to itunes to use push notifications". HUH? What on earth does that mean? I can't figure it out

If you are still unable to receive notifications and you are using a Wi-Fi connection, verify that the network or firewall is not blocking access to port 5223. How can I verify this?

As to the router I'm not sure - its through Verizon with an Airport on my mom's Mac computer

I do the reset on my phone quite frequently, on the advicce of my AT&T sales rep. As to the router I will have to try that one later and see if it works. Thank you for trying to help.
