Q: scroll

I just installed Lion into my macbook pro and migrated to Icloud from mobile me. Now I can't see any appointments past 8am because I can't figure out how to scroll down on ical. everytime I try to click on an invisible scroll bar, I inadvertantly create a new event.

spinoni,

Since you are using a trackpad, there is no need to click on the scrollbar. This article should help.
