Touch Screen Doesn't Work?

I spilled about 12oz of nail polish remover on my iPod. If I hook it up to my stereo I can still play my music, but my touch screen doesn't work. As far as I know that's the only thing wrong with it. How can I get my touch screen to work again?

When dry, try the standard fixes:

- Reset. Nothing is lost.

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore from backup

- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

If you still have the problem the yu need to have parts replaced. It could be the screen only or the liquid could have also damaged other components.
