itunes store is unavailable.

Interestingly, if I want to purchase a show, the itunes store is available. I just can't watch anything I've purchased.

Software is up-to-date, network connect is ok, signal is strong, all okay on my end, so what's the solution?

I've unplugged, reset, restored. I'm able to connect to netflix without problem. Itune is working on my laptop.

Anyone have an answer?

I am able to access some of my purchased content but not all of it.

Content I was unable to access (Lie To Me TV Series, Season 3),

Content I was able to access (Mad Men, latest season/episode)

I'm able to repurchase the episodes I already payed for, which of course shouldn't be possible....

Isn't it a pointer to the same content anyway?

This is why I usually download my own copy as soon as possible and why I will be more diliegent about that in the future - way to go Apple.

Same problem here, unhappy memories of the problems we encountered with MobileMe. Cloud only works if it's dependable!

I've been happy so far, but this is raising some serious red flags...

By the way, I seem to be able to access my purchased content through my iPad (slowly), so could play onto the TV from there. Strange

When you make media purchases in excess of $100, shouldn't there be someone available for online chat or via phone for at least normal business hours, not to mention 24/7 if you are paying for additional cloud space? I have to submit an email about not having access to my content then wait up to 24 hours for a response that still may or may not solve the issue. Isn't part of what I'm paying for with Apple products, the customer focus? Well - I'm already all in - MBAir, ATV2, iPhone, IPad. There product guarantees have been great thus far (iPad replacement when mic went out, MBAir clam shell fix) but their content snafus...oofdah...

I just realized the date of the original post and this won't help them, but if you are searching for answers as I did, maybe this will help.

I posted this in another thread, but sounds like you have the same problem I have. I can watch youtube, and even trailers, but I cannot watch any of my purchased movies and I can't rent movies either. It originally started after my 5.1 update and sporadically I would get the error in loading content...now I get an iTunes connection error as well.

So, I finally decided to pay 20 bones for support to find out what is wrong. Apple support confirmed there is a "number of people" having this issue and he thought there would be an update soon since they have been working on the problem for a couple of weeks. And he told me they wouldn't charge me for the call.

A little frustrating.
