I am having the same difficulty as well. But I put Face Time in trash and reinstalled it from App store. It seems to be functioning . However On the App store it says to download OSX Lion Not showing it is installed . I have installed it months ago . I did not remove Lion so I am a bit confused. When trying to install Lion it tells me that it is to new for Face Time and Face Time will not work. However Ichat did work. I have yet to install Lion from app store still shows that it needs downloaded what a pain. What I am running looks like lion but it seems to have gliches. I will end up taking it to apple. Dont have time for these gliches!
