Have a problem with battery. Haven’t used IPod shuffle for several month, know when I want to charge it, no reaction - unable to charge, neither sync with ITunes. Computer does not recognize usb cable, even all drivers are updated, ITunes as well. And cable is in working condition, checked with another device.

It seems, long period of being turned off somehow influenced in not positive way.  Want to know is there any possibility to ‘’bringing back it to life’’ without changing battery?

iPod shuffle, Windows 7, 4th gen.

The Shuffle's battery needs to have it's particles in constant motion in order to maintain it's ability to hold a charge.  At this point, the iPod's battery battery may have been too flat for too long and now needs to be serviced/replaced either by Apple, a third party repair company, or even yourself if you are up to it.
