Why is it when I try to put certain songs on my iPod a message comes up saying "Song Not Allowed On iPod"?

😕 HELP!

I purchased a few songs awhile back. I realized that I didnt have them, so I tried putting them on. They werent on my iPod. On my computer, they were there, but when I tired putting them on my iPod, a message came up saying "Song Not Allowed On iPod" or something like that. Can someone tell me what to do or at least someone telling me they have that same problem.
