Are you wanting information on replacing the missing parts?

Does it have the adapter used to run it by plugging it into the house current and charge the (non-existent) battery?

Attempting to replace the missing parts would be more expensive than just buying a used one that actually works.

Do you mean the internal hard drive? There is an internal cable. But you must have discovered that if it's up and running. Replacing the internal hard drive is a difficult procedure.

Or are you talking about an external hard drive (which does need a cable)? If you're talking about an external hard drive, I strongly recommend one with a FireWire 400 interface (faster and bootable).
