How do I use MenuBarFilter and MagicMenu together?

I have MenuBarFilter (http://eece.github.com/MenuBarFilter/) and MagicMenu (http://www.cynosurex.com/Software/MagicMenu/), and they seem unable to work together. Sometimes, the bar will be clack, or clear with unaccesibillity, or MagicMenu will work without MenuBar Filter. Any help is appreciated. On a related note, Spotlight and third-party applications are unclickable in the menu bar when using MenuBarFilter. Also, how can i remove the smcfancontrol icon from the menu bar? Thanks!

Try command dragging the smcfancontrol icon out of the menu bar.

Don't run MenuBarFilter if it is causing so much trouble and conflicting with MagicMenu.
