Switch to FCPX?

I started learning editing 1.5 years ago. I do documentaries of people and communities doing good work. I am not a pro but will do more of this in the future.. Since I'm self taught using on line guides having good support and resources is key. Ease of use is too. Ideas?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

FCP X is nothing like FCE so expect a learning curve.

If you are comfortable with FCE, stick with it.
