Hi I want to delete some songs to make space a bit. Can u tell me and if I delete them can I get them back.
You can delete them by swiping the song left or right and then tapping the delete icon that comes up.
If they are iTunes purchases see:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You can resync other music from your computer.
If you use iTunes Match you can use that.
If they were bought from Apple then whether you can re-download them will depend upon what country that you are in (and whether they remain in the store) - what you can re-download where is shown on this page. If you connect to your computer first then you should be able to copy your purchases to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, then you will have a copy of them
To delete music directly on the iPad (and you need to be on iOS 5+), then in the Music app you can swipe across individual tracks and you should get a Delete button appear on them. You can also delete albums or artists via the Album/Artist selection screen by pressing and holding the album/artist for a second or two, when a 'x' should appear in the top left-corner of it.
