Office for Mac 2011 upgrade

For exerything to work correctly, I would put the Office 2011 folder is in the Applications folder. But there might be an option in the installer to select a different destination for the update if you have the Office 2011 folder located somewhere else.

Next, open Word and go to the help menu and come down to Check for Updates and follow the setps to download the latest update.

There are no options in the updaters to control where it is to look for the "Microsoft Office 2011" folder. It must be in /Applications.
