I have just downloaded the Smart Panel for my Samsung CLP-320 Colour Lazer Printer .. however it has not shown up in the sytem preferences under Print & Scan ..does anyone have any idea where this utility panel may have been installed??

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
System Preferences -> Print & Scan -> Options & Supplies -> Supply Levels
If it's running, you'll see this icon in the menubar.
If it's not, you can easily find it by clicking the Magnifying glass on the upper right of the menubar and typing Smart Panel.
It should be located in the Samsung subdirectory in the Apps folder.

Guys thank you both for the replies ..unfortunatley it is neither in System preferences (where I first looked) not is it showing up in the search.
If I open the zip file and install again will that do any harm?

I'm sure you have figured this out by now, but if anyone else stumbles upon this forum as I did, I have found the solution.
After installing the Smart Panel software, you need to delete the printer in the System Preferences -> Print & Scan section, then re-add the printer using the + icon.
Whilst I did not get the icon in the menubar, this did cause the "Supply Levels" to work, and added a new tab called "Utility" which had the other features.

I can confirm Roikison's answer; I was not able to see supply levels or the 'Utility' tab on the printer driver until I removed and added the printer as described above.
Terrible software, but a simple enough fix.
Where is my SMART PANEL (which I downloaded) for my Samsung printer likely to be installed in my imac - as I can't find it?
