How many mAh's are you reading?

I don't know if this is a proper way of determining battery capacity - especially w/ the change in potential (V) and conversion from mAh to mWh. But out of curiosity, what's your capacity in milliamp hours?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

After 3 cycles so far, I'm at 5590 for the max. The batteries are rated at 60Wh (or 5555 mAh). So, anything close to 5555 mAh is very good - 5590 is GREAT. Converting it backwords gives my battery 60.4Wh currently

Open Terminal, enter this:

system_profiler SPPowerDataType

then look for Battery Information.

How many Cycles are on the battery?

I was at 5310 last night, so I drained it all the way and then fully charged again and thats when it hit it's all-time high (currently 5613)

5432 right now. I haven't calibrated it completely though... just to about 20 minutes left on the battery to a full charge.

Have you fully calibrated it?
If so, then I would be a little concerned, being that it couldn't be more than 2 weeks old.

It seems as though a calibration and full discharge of the battery really helps out w/ getting the proper readings and capacity of the battery.

My capacity seems to fluctuate between 5530's to 5580's. But with the varying voltage it reads, I guess that's the reason why it changes.

Any electrical engineers around?

5718! Wow, that's good. Are you using the battery in any particular fashion (multiple small uses or slow long drains, brightness settings, etc)?
