best apps for iphone 3gs

I just bought iphone 3GS. So I just wanna know that what are the best available apps for iOS 3.1.3. (not interested in upgrading to iOS 5) in social networking, music and photo? 😕

Look in the top charts for the categories of apps you're interested in for what are popular and read the reviews.

You're going to be somewhat limited by restricting yourself to iOS 3.1.3 though. Lots of popular apps require a minimum of iOS 4 or even iOS 5.

well upgrading to iOS 5 sounds great... but it does effect on the performance on iPhone 3GS as I have been through many communities having discussion reg problems faced by them after upgrading to higher version. this makes me restrict to same iOS...

so upgrading really does effect it?

I have a 3GS on iOS 5. There are no issues. Battery life has actually improved a ton for me. It occasionally lags, but I don't think it's due to iOS 5, it may be because I have a lot of apps running.

I'd say, go ahead and update to iOS 5. That way you will be able to have a choice of a lot more apps, and you will not experience any issues.
