Palm Z22 Handheld and iSync - compatible?

Is the Palm Z22 Handheld compatible with iSync 2.1.1?
It is sold online in the Apple Store but is not listed on the iSync compatible list on the Apple web site, nor does Palm list it as compatible except with PCs - via MS Outlook.
Seems like it must be or they would not sell it?

Both of the latest Palm handheld organizers—the Palm T|X and the Z22—are compatible with iSync, though they require the Palm Desktop version 4.2.2, which is currently available only on the CD-ROM which is packaged with either device.

Neither is listed as compatible on the device list you refer to, as all Palm handheld and smartphones with Palm OS 3 or later are considered compatible, as each is capable of interacting with Palm Desktop 4 or later under Mac OS X. This includes handheld organizers as old as the Palm III [OS 3] and Handspring Visor Deluxe [OS 3.1H2.]

To use a Palm handheld organizer or smartphone with the Missing Sync for Palm OS requires that device be at least a Palm OS 4 device, making the Palm m105, Zire and Tungsten W and the Handspring Treo 90 the oldest devices supported by that application.

You can use the Address Book and iCal, choosing to synchronize your contacts, events and tasks with iSync, or you can use these same applications with the Missing Sync for Palm OS instead of using iSync. To use your Palm T|X with iSync, simply add it as a device using the Enable Palm OS Syncing… option under the Devices menu. [It must have a HotSync name different than the one used with your m101 if you intend to use both devices.]

There are lots of reasons to do so, including its far greater flexibility and reliability, its individual Mark/Space Contacts, Events and Tasks conduits, the far superior mapping of categories to groups across platforms, and the add-ons, like iTunes and iPhoto synchronization, AvantGo content synchronization, the OS X memo application and matching conduit…

The list goes on and on. You can learn more about the Missing Sync for Palm OS here:
