Question

you can't open the application because powerpc is n ot longer supported

my hp scan printer and epson printer are not working, I did contact them about updated software and it still give sme the "You can't open the application Patch_A because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." help? If I can not get this fixed the my only choice is to abandoned lion and go back to leopard. I use these thing in my busnes.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Then abandon Lion and go back. Power PC applications are not supported - that can't be changed.

You show that you're running 10.6.7, which is Snow Leopard. Restore your SL bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup or boot into your SL backup/clone, update your printer/scanner software, wipe your Lion volume, clone your updated SL volume to it, and reinstall Lion.
