Can not get ICLOUD to sync. I have set it up on my IPAD, IMAC, and in the parallels windows but can't seem to get it to sync anywhere. My itunes apps sync when I connect my ipad but that is all. Nothing happens with anything else and it has to be plugged in doesn't do it wi-fi. Suggestions?

Your profile states that you are using OS X 10.6.8, is this correct, iCloud does not work with 10.6.8, it requires 10.7.2 or better.
nope just forgot to update that. I have lion 10.7.3. I know my windows side won't sync because I only have XP not windows 7.
For the avoidance of doubt, could you please tell is what it is that you think should be happening. I note that you mention apps, apps are related to your iTunes account not your iCloud account. iCloud is for syncing calendars, contacts etc.
Sorry guess that wasn't so clear.
I just want to sync my ical. When I put an appointment in my Ipad it does not go to my desktop and visa-versa. Neither do photos but my calandar is whats important to me. I eventually want to be able to sync my HTC phone as well but need to update windows before doing that. Must have synced something at one point because all my contacts are ok.
OOPS never mind the contacts are not synced either. That was a different progrm for my phone. Nothing between desktop and ipad.
For Calendars:
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.
You can't use iCloud with your HTC phone.

I do not have an ICLOUD calendar group under the ON MY MAC group. What have I done wrong?
