Is there any limit for the quantity of photos i can import to ipad 2? May i transfer 64000 photos (they are in about 32 Gb) at a 64 G ipad?

Theoretically the only limit to the number of photos that you can sync is the amount of storage capacity that you have left on the iPad for the photos. However, there have been a few users reporting that - for whatever reasons - their new iPads will not sync all of their photos - especially very large photo collections like what you have.
You should be able to sync all of your photos but what I would try is to just sync a portion of the photos at a time. I don't know how you have your photos arranged in your folder that you will sync from, but my advice would be start with a few albums at a time and see how it goes. Keep adding more albums with each subsequent sync.

(i was trying to do it from a pc, im doing it now from a Mac and see if the time it takes is part of the problem, like a time out...it´s a posibillity, don´t you think?

I just did a quick calculation. If someone were to view your pics for ten seconds each 24 hours per day non-stop, it would take over a week to see all the shots.
You may want to read the link that lllaass has provided. I have never heard of this before and I was totally unaware of any limit.
I remember after the first iPad was introduced there was this 16 GB limit but I do not know it it is still present.
jajajja! Thanks for the calculation!!! I know it´s a big collection. Obviously i don´t expect it happens (anyone to see them all, neither myself). They are bussines photos. I need them...actually, i need all the folders...but how to say to itunes to transfer some of the photos from each folder? With iphoto or Aperture, you can, just tagging them, but not in windows. (And this ipad will by synchronized in windows). Creating an exclusive folder would duplicate the images at the computer and would be a mess when add new ones...It´s much simple to transfer all of them as i have it in the pc. Don´t you think?
