Home Sharing disconnects every few minutes - SOLVED (?)

Hi.

I had the home sharing problem (it stopped working after a few minutes when trying to see content on my Apple TV). However, yesterday I installed the AirPrint patch that can be found here:

and, since then, Home Sharing is working fine. I've seen two complete movies already, and Home Sharing hasn't stopped anytime. I don't know why, but it seems that activating AirPrint solves the Home Sharing problem.

Anyone else has tried this?

Apple TV (3rd generation), Windows 7

Hello! I was happy to read your suggestíon! But sadly: The Media Fire Site was removed.

Another person kan tell us that it works after a reset. That did not solve the problem for me either.

I still hope that Apple will distribute a new update that will fix our problem.

I've checked it and I can download it.

Anyway, if you don't trust this file, it seems that the problem has something to do with the bonjour service. You can activate it following what fishacura said on this post:

The file I used activates the bonjour service as well.
