Hello!
I am currently listening to music streamed to my airport express via AirpPlay WiFi using iTunes. It his hooked to a DAC with an optical cable. Every 5-10 minutes or so it plays a beep sound. Does anyone have a clue what that could be / mean?
I have been using that thing for years, but never heard that beeping before...?

Can you try listening to it without airPlay? This beep may be coming from the source somehow... if not, it could help to give us possibilities where in the link this is getting in.

Thank you for the advice... I found the culprit. I am a little embarrassed the source was my wifes new mobile, which was hidden next to the speaker... it started beeping because the battery was empty. 😊
