error 42110

See the "Error 3001," "-42110," or "5103" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

Try to delete Folder "SC Info" in:

• c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\ (Windows XP)
• /users/Shared/SC Info (Mac OS)
• C:\Program Data\Apple Computer\iTunes (Vista)

Watch out:

Find out what the problem is: there are two locations with app files:

One is

C:\User\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes

which does not contain the folder "SC Info"

Another one is

C:\Program Data\Apple Computer\iTunes

which does contain the folder "SC Info"

The problem is solved.

For me the best solution is follow

1. click un ITunnes
2. right click
3. select properties
4. click in compatibility
5. botton windows , [User Account privilieges ] select check box [ Allow non-Administrators to run this program.
6. click [OK]

ready. no problem. When you execute Itunnes, ask you if execute with this privileguies, and you select yes option.

So, the problem it was about user privileges at the end?. That appeared after iTunes update?.

Then the best solution is to make good updates of iTunes versions...strange that this happened to Apple...

I deleted the folder 'SC info' - no effect -, uninstalled iTunes COMPLETELY,... en there was erro 42110 back in town. iTunes works properly, but the error is irritating me. I never downloaded a movie????
