Picture of parrot on my email

Hi,

Is there a way to remove the dumb looking parrot on my email?

I couldn't figure out what to call this stupid imposition on my being by some totalitarin geek or I would have looked it up in help.

The 'dumb looking parrot' appears because you selected as your Picture when you created your user account.

To change it, launch the Systems Preferences application, press the Accounts pane and then the Picture tab. You can choose any of the images in the window including a 'blank' picture, or press the Edit button to choose another image.

In any event, it doesn't really matter which picture you choose, as no one but you sees it.

I checked this as solved before going to Accounts in Preferences.

Where is the choice of a blank?

I didn't choose the parrot, it was imposed on me.

It seemed as though there was one yesterday when I looked. It must have been a corrupted or temporarily unavailable image, because there is no 'blank' there today. I'm sure that you could create one using the Edit button.
