appletv - the airplay window on iphone 4gs and ipad gen2 does not show the mirroring slider? any one know what im doing wrong?

Didn't help at all. Everyting is ok except the 'mirror' option slider does not appear on any device (2 phones, 1 ipad). There mus be something i need to turn on - but what is it?
Mirroring slider will not show on the ipad unless you select the AppleTV first to stream to.
Also, Mirror option will not show up on airPlay UNLESS you are using air-play from the iPad dock. I'm guessing you may be trying to use the simplified airPlay option that is present on other apps.
