Help for iPod > iTunes music sync

Hi all. I need a resource to help me add and delete song from my iPod.

This is the most boring topic, yet it's iching all over my body:

Is it true that the only option i have is to sync to my iTunes library, which right now is empty, and my iPod is full with music?

I want to delete som music, but i cannot see the contents of my iPod in iTunes, which I think is silly.

Then I want to add some new artists, but i'm afraid that if I sync to the library that everything will be deleted...

HELP!!

Copy iTunes purchases to the computer by:

Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here. You can Google for more programs.

If iTunes does not see your iPod see:

Probably misunderstood my problem:

- iTunes sees my iPod, but i cannot access the songs that I want to delete...

- I don't want to rip from my iPod to my computer, i want to add songs to my iPod without syncing to my empty music library on my computer...
