Q: How many albums can an 16 gb ipod hold

I am thinking about buying a new ipod and would like to know how many hours of music will 16gb IPOD touch will hold

    How much it will hold will depend upon the format of your music files (e.g. MP3, AAC etc) and the tracks bitrate. A lot of my music on my iPod I tend to have as MP3s at a bitrate of 128 kbps - so an album tends to be about 50 to 60 meg. At that size I get about 18 albums per gig, which would be something 250 albums on a 16 gig iPod Touch (some of the 16 gig is taken up by the operating system and built-in apps).
