How to import a .TLV clip into FCPX?

I have a PlotWatcher time-lapse camera that creates .TLV files. In the past (more than a year ago) I converted the file and loaded it to iMovie for editing and exporting. A year later and I have no idea how I did it. I'm thinking it was as simple as just changing the .TLV suffix to something else - but I've tried several suffixesand nothing seems to work. Possibly I used a converter software, but I really don't think I did.

Does anyone have any idea how to get a .TLV to import into FCPX or what I do to convert it to something recognizeable?

Thanks!

Ah, just figured it out. Thought I'd share. Simply change the .TLV suffix to .AVI. Walla, fixed!
