I have really given up, cannot sync with windows vista? I think since the upgrade came out. Thanks

What does cannot sync mean?
Is yout iPad avaialble under Devices in the iTunes source list when connected?
If so, any error message provided when selecting Sync?
I connect the ipad to usb start sync, takes forever it seems, my device comes up in itunes but it gets to step 1 of 6, everything freezes and never completes the sync. I am mostly wanting to sync my itunes music over to the ipad. I have many many songs and albums on the IPAD the name is there, very light so I cant click on it to play, while others are dark print and then able to click and play. It is almost as if the sync never finished. How long should this take to complete?
the only error note I had was to to got device summary restore factory settings. I couldnt find where to do this or even if it would help. thanks, frankly I stopped trying about 8months ago and figured I needed to resolve this witout buying a apple laptop. CSB47

Something is blocking the connection.
Try disabling your anti virus software and turning off the Firewall.
