Screen sidways
The screen on my iPod nano 6th generation has always been vertical. Yesterday out of the blue I turned it on and suddenly the screen is completly rotated on its side.

Place your thumb and pointer finger in a pinch fashion onto the Nano's touch screen and rotate them either clockwise or counterclockwise to change the display's orientation.
