Problems trial installation final cut pro x

No need to drag the .dmg-file into the Applications folder. Just leave it in the Downloads folder (or wherever you downloaded it to), double-clicking will open the disk image. Inside the Finder window of the disk image you'll find the installation application. Double-click on that to install the software.

Did you try downloading from the Mac App Store?

I think the trial version is not available on the Mac App Store, only for downloading from the Apple website...

The problem seems to be on the Apple side: tried to download the trial version and all I got was a file of 15byte size. When opening the dmg file, I received the same error message. The dmg file should be about GB file size.

So don't worry and check back in a few days, it should be working by then.

WWhat are you doing and what happens when you do it? Does your computer meet minimum computer specs for the application? Does the link on the Apple FCP page work?
