I keep downloading Final Cut Pro X's trial version. I live in the United States and I have a Mac Laptop that is less than 6 months old. It's a Mac Book with over 550 gigs available so I would like to know what I'm doing wrong. It says the file's unrecognizable.

Did you download from the App Store?
I'm having exactly the same problem - instead of downloading a file that I believe should be around a gigabyte, it downloads 15 bytes. I've tried several times.
Mac Book, not Mac Book Pro, forget FCPX
Same here, downloaded 4 bytes. tried the manual link same thing. Someone please fix it. How can you evaluate a product if you can't even download it?
