I just bought a 8GB ipod touch with iOs 5.01 - when i tried syncing music with itunes on windows 7, there was a problem. the song gets copied to the ipod touch but playback is problematic - the song does not playback from the beginning, it stops after 20 seconds, and keeps jumping to different points in the song. Why is there a music playback problem on a brand new ipod touch?? PLEASE HELP!

Has your music been downloaded from iTunes or another source?
Were the music files converted? For example WMA to MP3?
Does the music play OK in iTunes?
Try unsyncing the problem songs and then resyncing.
I noticed today I had a song that was set to start in the middle. But this was just one song, I don't see why it would be for a bunch of songs. Make sure you aren't trying to multi-task too much either.
I'm syncing mp3 files from itunes v10.6 on windows 7 - all tracks work fine on itunes and are set to begin at the start. when i sync with ipod touch, the songs copy over but then, when I start playing the songs on the ipod, they skip and pause randomly - every single song. i've removed itunes from windows and reinstalled it. i have restored the ipod to factory settings, i have unsynced and resynced it about 5 times now - but I am faced with the same problem every time! HELP!
