Apogee Gio

I am a one Man Band. I am down sizing my rig and have purchased a Motu 4Pre, MackBook Pro, Logic and Mainstage. I need hands free control of guitar effects, vocal effects, and backing track control.

My curennt rig allows me full midi using my Yamaha O1V96 mixer, Pod XT Live Guitar Pedal Board, Digitech Studio Vocalist and roland MC-80 sequencer. I have converted my midi files to a Main Stage compatible Format and now need to implement a foot controller.

The Apogee Gio looks interesting but I'm not sure it is adequate. Recommendations ?
