My Macbook Pro (Late 2011, 15", 2.2 GHz) Keeps making a weird low short noise, Almost a beep. It does this while running, no disc in the SuperDrive.

My MacBook Pro keeps making a weird noise whenever running. It will make this about every 5-10 minutes. It's a very low, soft beep. Anyone else having this, or is something wrong with the MacBook?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

You might consider running an Apple Hardware Test but the best thing to do is take it in for a complete diagnostic analysis at a genius bar. Part of the premium price that you paid is that service so do take advantage of it. (I am assuming that the warranty is still in effect.)
