Have an SSD and HD, want to transfer from my IMAC applications to my SSD and data to HD. Is there a success path for this type of operation?

Start up the iMac in Target Disk mode and connect it to

your Mini via Firewire cable. Then, for data, it will be

simply a drag and drop from the iMac to the standard

HD.

Next, I would suggest drag and drop one application at a

time from the iMac to the Mini SSD and then run the app

from the SSD. If works fine then move your okay and if

not, note that you need to install it and move to the next one.

Also note that if any of your apps are from the MacApp Store,

you can log in to the MacApp Store and down load them.
