Q: What should I do if I followed all the steps in this article and I still can't use hotspot?

I got my phone a couple months ago, I require mobile hotspot for work but I can't get it to work, so I have been linping along trying to get work done in other ways. I have tried connecting with my phone's mobile hotspot with both my macbook pro and my PC with no luck. A few weeks ago I was successfully able to connect using my PC, and about a month and a half ago, a friend's TV linked right up using my hotspot. I can't connect via bluetooth, direct connection, or wi-fi. The wi-fi network name never shows up in the list of available networks. My phone connects to Wi-Fi networks just fine.
