That's correct.
Well the problem is , it keeps saying server does not recognize user name or password, even after changing passwords on all ie; icloud and Mac Mail app and also when opening and deleting "all info" and starting fresh with in the S2 Skyrockets mail app. There is a glitch that just won't let an Android phone connect to icloud servers no matter if you remove the dash after the P01 too a dot. This sounds like another ploy by Apple to F#$% every thing thats Android.

Android doesn't need Apple's help to F#$% their users 😉
(Take no offense to that, it's just a joke).
Hi steve, I too am a long time Apple guy, however I am not joking, I'm simply trying to get some answers to a perplexing issue. It is not about what products are better than the others. That is no joke. It is why everything was flawless untill Apple removed the Mobile Me servers, and what changes occured and were implemented to now be none recognizable with in icloud. NO JOKES HERE. Maybe you can be a little more helpful and respond with a fix for this? instead of your useless comment above.

sincerely, chris
I answered you in the first reply. No iCloud on Android. Period.
OK, "you" have given up," I " have not. Steve, do you know exactly "why" it now does not work on iclouds new servers? if not no need to reply, your answer above is final for yourself, however others here and around the world are still hacking and figuring how this issue maybe worked around or fixed.
"No offence Steve , but you can not speak for others here, just yourself"
Sincerely, chris
I'm having the same problems on a Galaxy Nexus running stock ICS 4.0.4. I'm fully aware iCloud as an entire service isn't available on Android but the mail aspect SHOULD be accessible. It's just mail, it should be universal if you have the right settings.

That kbase is Apple's documentation for setting up iCloud mail on virtually any system, but it doesn't work on Android devices (I'd try it on other non-Apple products if I could too). The error is always that the username/password is incorrect, but it is absolutely fine. I've verified it about 20 times now, I can sit there and log in on my iPad, Mac, the website but as soon as I try it on my phone it fails with that error. Occasionally we'll see a different error about not being able to connect to the server, but that's intermittent.
I'm starting to suspect something weird is going on because this DID work in the past.

Out of curiosity (this keeps coming up) I just put iCloud mail on an HTC Wildfire running Android 2.3.4, it took 2 minutes and runs just fine, contacts and calendars do not work.
Problem Solved!, just do a HARD RESET of you Android phone and start fresh, it works fine, and if you want contacts andcaladers from your mac to your Android phone, you must open a Google account first and then follow the instructions to have all you Mac contacts and calanders moved into google cloud.
everything works fine after the [HARD RESTART]
