home button requires multiple pushes to work?
My home button has started requiring multiple pushes before it will do anything. Has anyone else encountered this problem, if so what is wrong with it?
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1
Over-average wear and tear, water damage, button partially stuck, case covering the button erroneously.
Take your pick, and hope it's not water damage or over-average wear and tear. These two will need an Apple Certified Technician to repair your device (or Apple Store).
However, if you think it's software related, you can always try a restore to your latest backup or restore to the factory/new iphone settings using iTunes.
